Concrete Benches That Incorporate Recycled Plastic Lumber
Doty & Sons offers all concrete benches which incorporate recycled plastic lumber, and concrete benches that
use ipe’ lumber. Recycled Plastic Lumber does not absorb moisture, rot or splinter, and remains virtually maintenance free. Its color is also UV stabilized. Stock colors include Cedar and Weathered Wood. Other colors that are available by special order are Gray, Brown, Green, and White. Our Recycled Plastic Lumber is also 90% Recycled HDPE plastic made of recycled milk jugs.
Concrete Benches That Incorporate IPE’ Lumber
Doty & Sons offers concrete benches that also use IPE (pronounced ee'pay). IPE is a South American hardwood, which is extremely durable and is an exceptional type of wood that is well suited for benches and other site furnishing applications. It is also resistant to rot and insect infestation. The lumber is also sealed with a clear sealer and weathers to a silver-gray color.
